about

Hi there!

I’m Eric, a tech entrepreneur, student, and all around nerd (especially with anything space)!

I serve as the Executive Director and a member of the Board of Directors at the Space Force Association, the Vice President of the Holocaust Art Restitution Project, and a member of the Board of Advisors of the Sooner Flight Academy at the University of Oklahoma.

I currently study at the University of North Dakota’s John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences, where I am working towards a PhD in their space studies department. My research interests include space exploration management and policy, technology innovation, and national space strategy. Using historical information on human exploration of Earth, my dissertation research will focus on understanding and solving complex issues in the management of human space exploration, particularly in regards to the foreseen increase in human presence beyond low-Earth orbit (i.e. Moon, Mars, etc.).

My BA is in Economics, with a minor in History, from the University of Oklahoma. I also hold a MSc in Global Security, with a concentration in Strategy and Defense, from the University of Glasgow in Scotland, and a Graduate Certificate in Commercial Space Studies from the Florida Institute of Technology / International Space University.

I live in the Texas Hill Country with my wife and two dogs, just north of where I was born in San Antonio. When not working, I enjoy skiing, piloting, traveling, movies, running, and the occasional video game. Oh, and did I mention I’m a huge Star Wars fan? May the force be with you.

Semper Exploro,

Eric
